Before first use

1. Unfold the rollator completely and make sure the frame is securely locked open.

2. Adjust both handles to the same height. When standing upright, the handles should generally sit around wrist level, allowing a slight bend in the elbows.

3. Check that all adjustment points are secure.

4. Test both brakes before walking and make sure the wheels move freely.

5. If you are unsure about the correct height or suitability, seek advice from a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.

While walking

1. Stand between the rear wheels with the rollator close to your body.

2. Hold both handles securely.

3. Walk upright and take controlled steps, keeping the rollator close rather than pushing it too far ahead.

4. Squeeze the brake levers gently when slowing down or stopping.

5. Take extra care on slopes, uneven surfaces, wet ground, kerbs and loose surfaces.

To use the seat

1. Stop on a firm, flat and level surface.

2. Apply both parking brakes fully before sitting.

3. Turn carefully until the back of your legs touches the seat.

4. Reach back for support and lower yourself slowly onto the seat.

5. When standing, place both feet firmly on the ground and use the handles for balance.

Always keep the parking brakes locked while seated.

To fold and store

Remove loose belongings from the storage bag before folding. Follow the supplied instruction manual to fold the frame and front wheels correctly. The rear legs can be removed when more compact storage is required. Make sure all components are securely refitted before the next use.
